Our worship

There is a variety of services, with and without music, in comtemporary English (using Common Worship) and using the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer, and at different times of day, held throughout the seven parishes each Sunday.

You are welcome to attend any of them regardless of where you live (in the parishes or outside of them).

You can find out more about the services held in each parish in that parish’s “services & celebrations” page – links as follows:
Buckhorn Weston; East Stour; Fifehead Magdalen; Kington Magna; Stour Provost; (for Stour Row see Stour Provost); Todber; West Stour.

Please note: although end times are shown in the calendar, services vary in length and these are just a guide to the approximate length.

Benefice services

Third Sunday

On the 3rd third Sunday of each month a Sung Holy Communion is held.

Everyone is welcome to stay for coffee after the service.

The parishes take it in turn to lead this service, although it is held at the moment at Christ Church, East Stour.

Fifth Sunday

Whenever there is a 5th Sunday there will be a Praise Service, which includes a bring and share lunch; the venue for this service will be either Buckhorn Weston or East Stour Village Hall, so please check the calendar or Octavo for the location.
